LaminateLaminate countertops are a great, inexpensive alternative to stone and solid surface countertops. There is a variety of styles (even some that mimic stone surface like granite and marble). Laminate countertops are low-maintenance.
GraniteGranite is a very hard stone and 100% natural. Think of it as a slice out of a mountain. It's mined from quarries all around the world, cut down to the slab size, then polished to a fine finish. Granite colors can vary greatly and we recommend visiting the stone yard before having your granite installed. Our granite comes installed with a 15 year sealer.

QuartzQuartz is a manufactured material. It is made using 95% ground natural quartz and 5% polymer resins. Because it is a man-made material, the coloring is typically really consistent from one slab to the next.
Solid SurfaceSolid surface countertops are a combination of mineral dust blended with pigments and bound with a variety of resins. It is roughly 1/3 synthetic polymers and 2/3 natural material. Solid surface countertops can have integrated sinks or undermount sinks and while the surface may scratch, it is able to be sanded and repolished.
